1

Operator, scope, and legal priority

Zayn is operated by ZAYNHQ PORTAL, a Dubai, United Arab Emirates business with trade licence number 1605147 and commercial register number 2816781. These terms apply to the Zayn website, waitlists, app, and related support channels.

If any part of these terms conflicts with non-waivable consumer rights or other mandatory requirements under applicable UAE law, the mandatory legal rule will prevail to that extent.

2

Accounts and eligibility

  • Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place a booking.
  • Accurate information: You must provide current and accurate contact, booking, payment, and profile details.
  • Authority: If you register or submit information on behalf of a salon or business, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
  • Account security: You are responsible for keeping login credentials and device access secure.
3

Zayn's role as a portal and marketplace

  • Zayn acts only as an intermediary, brokerage platform, and booking portal connecting clients with independent salons and beauty professionals.
  • Unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular service, Zayn is not the direct beauty service provider and does not perform the salon service in its own name.
  • The service contract for the booked beauty service is between the client and the selected salon or professional once the booking is confirmed.
  • Independent salons and professionals remain responsible for their service quality, punctuality, hygiene, lawful activity, staff permissions, taxes, and any approvals required for home-service work.
  • Listings, prices, durations, availability, and cancellation terms shown before checkout form part of the booking record for that service.
4

Bookings, cash on delivery, and service communications

  • At launch, standard bookings on Zayn are cash on delivery only unless we clearly state another payment method for a specific service.
  • By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the quoted price shown before confirmation and pays the salon or professional directly when the appointment is completed.
  • Undisclosed fees should not be added after booking confirmation except for client-requested changes or taxes clearly required by law and disclosed before the service is performed.
  • Zayn may send booking confirmations, reminders, support updates, refunds, and security notices by email, SMS, in-app notification, or phone where needed to perform the service.
  • Website waitlist or join forms do not guarantee launch timing, approval, listing activation, or access to the app.
5

Salon and professional obligations

  • Salon partners must hold and maintain valid trade licence coverage matching the services and activities they list on Zayn.
  • If a salon offers home or mobile services, it remains responsible for ensuring its trade licence or any separate permit, no-objection approval, municipality approval, or other emirate-specific requirement actually covers that activity. A standard salon licence may not be enough on its own.
  • Zayn may request Trade License records, Establishment Card or MoA documents, owner Emirates ID front and back scans, official bank or finance details, home-service approvals, and related compliance information before activation or continued use.
  • Partners must provide truthful service descriptions, lawful pricing, accurate availability, and prompt notice of cancellations or material service changes.
  • Salon partners remain responsible for collecting the client payment directly on completed cash-on-delivery bookings and for paying Zayn any platform amount owed on those bookings.
  • Zayn may suspend, reject, or remove listings where documents are missing, misleading, expired, or inconsistent with the proposed service activity.
6

Salon amounts owed to Zayn, refunds, and disputes

  • For launch cash-on-delivery bookings, Zayn does not collect the service payment from the client and does not remit the service amount to the salon.
  • Instead, after a completed cash-on-delivery booking, the salon owes Zayn the applicable platform commission, service charge, or other agreed platform amount connected to that booking.
  • Zayn may calculate outstanding salon balances, accept and record full or partial payments from salons, send reminders, and apply reasonable account restrictions where salon balances remain overdue.
  • Zayn may maintain internal settlement records tied to completed bookings so that finance statements, overdue balances, and payment histories can be tracked accurately.
  • Zayn's Refund Policy forms part of these terms and explains cancellations, late changes, no-shows, and quality-related claims.
  • No policy on this website removes any refund, repair, cancellation, or complaint right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UAE law.
  • Clients should raise booking disputes through Zayn support as soon as possible and ideally within the reporting period shown in the refund policy.
7

Privacy, platform data use, and messages

  • Personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
  • Zayn may use booking, usage, operational, and marketplace data to understand platform activity, improve matching between clients and providers, support scheduling and availability, refine recommendations, improve service quality, and detect misuse, fraud, or policy violations.
  • This may include reviewing usage patterns, interaction trends, and supply and demand trends in aggregated or operational ways to improve the marketplace and user experience.
  • Zayn does not sell personal data, and providers receive only the information reasonably needed to deliver the requested service and manage the booking.
  • Service-related messages needed to perform bookings, protect accounts, or answer support requests may be sent without separate marketing consent where permitted by law.
  • Launch waitlists and salon join forms are used only for the purposes stated at the point of collection, including launch updates, onboarding, compliance review, and account setup.
  • Users must not use Zayn for fraud, harassment, unlawful conduct, fake reviews, abusive communication, or attempts to bypass platform controls.

Liability, complaints, and governing law

To the extent permitted by law, Zayn is provided on an as-available basis and we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the portal. This does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, unless a mandatory rule requires a different approach. Consumers may also use available government complaint channels, including Dubai DET's Consumer Rights service for eligible complaints involving Dubai-licensed businesses.

Any advertising campaign, discount programme, promotion, or public offer run through Zayn should be used only to the extent permitted by the operator's licence conditions and any permit or approval required by Dubai authorities.

Support and complaint routes

Contact support@zaynapp.com first so we can review the booking record. For Dubai consumer complaints, you can also use Dubai Consumer Rights.

An Arabic customer-facing version of these terms should be published before public launch if required for the final public consumer experience.
